Gohan Reviews

From zagat.com:

"Great sushi restaurant in every regard - amazing food !! (how can raw fish be really so different?). Elegant, but not stuffy. Very friendly and attentive staff. I think this place will soon be Sonoma County's best sushi restaurant. They have lots of great things not on the menu - Try a chef's selection sometime, a great way to expand your horizons if you're relatively new to sushi. Seems like they also have some the areas better sake selections. Gohan is also one of the better Sonoma County restaurants for singles to dine.. Really friendly staff make this comfortable dining experience."

From the March 28-April 3, 2007 issue of The Bohemian:

"As Tam stops by my table after the last plate has been cleared (he's been making the rounds throughout my meal, greeting every single guest), he asks if there's anything he can do to make my experience even better. I can't imagine what, I tell him sincerely. Because what he's doing with Gohan is a wonderful thing indeed."

From yelp.com:

"Definitely a five star in my opinion - the quality, presentation of the great variety of Sushi is just outstanding. When I think of Sushi in Petaluma, I think of Gohan's. The service could not be any better.
Upscale it is - all the way - indeed."

From the January 10, 2007 issue of The Press Democrat:

"Whimsical sushi rolls rank somewhere between Appletinis and sausage logs in my gastronomical repertoire. Which is to say, I avoid them at all costs. Unless they come with tater tots. Then, it's a totally different story."
